Jeanette Louise Pyle Marshall plassed away on Wednesday, 11 MAR 2009, at her home in Inyokern, CA. Jeanette was born on 12 Apr 1950 in Kansas City, MO to Margery and William Pyle.

As a child, Jeanette and her famiy followed the Air Force all over the world, living in France, Germany and Japan, where Jeanette graduated in 1968; eventually the family settled in San Antonio, TX. During her college years at the University of Arizona, she met and married Richard Marshall of Tucson, AZ. As they raised their five children, they lived in Tucson, AZ, Phoenix, AZ, Falls Church, VA, Ft. Washington, MD, Melbourne, FL and Poway, CA, settling in Ridgecrest, CA in 1985. In 1999, they moved to Inyokern, CA.

Jeannette was a member of the Ridge Writer's Club and Delta Kappa Gamma. She taught CCD classes and was director of the RCIA program at St. Ann's Catholic Church for over 20 years, during which time she earned her Master Catechist certificate. Jeannette taught sixth grade at James Monroe Middle School for 10 years and was a great mentor to many new teachers through the BTSA program.

    Summer and Mic,
    Bethany and Mike,
    Anne and Taylor,
    Vivian Marshall

  • Nancy Pyle, her sister

  • Five brothers:
    Bill Pyle,
    George Pyle,
    Greg Pyle,
    Martin Pyle,
    David Pyle

  • 10 grandchildren: Colum, Joella, Liesi, Therese, Noni, Giulia, Carrick, Michael, Rachel, and Lorna.
