Eloise Angella "Ann" Yelton

Miss Eloise Angella (Ann) Yelton, 15-year-old daughter of Lt. Col. and Mrs. John F. Yelton of Sumter, died at the Columbia Hospital early Sunday morning, May 13, 1962, from injuries received in an automobile accident at Rembert one week ago.

She was born in Hendersonville, N.C., Aug. 13, 1946. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Comforter (Episcopal) in Sumter and was a sophomore at Edmunds High School.

Surviving besides her parents are four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Mount of Los Angeles, Cal., Miss Camilla Jeanne Yelton of Charlotte, N.C., and Miss Susan and Joan Yelton of Sumter, her paternal grandmother, Mrs. J. H. Yelton, and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. W. A. Prince, both of Hendersonville.

Funeral services were conducted at 10 o'clock this morning from the Church of the Holy Comforter by the Rev. William Seddon Lee. Interment followed at 4:30 this afternoon at Oakdale Cemetery in Hendersonville.




The Johnson High alumni will miss Ann very much.
