Clarence E. "Skeeter" Woodell

Clarence Edward Woodell, Jr, 66, of Frametown passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at his residence.

He was born April 25, 1951, in Sutton to Dolly Mae Woodell & the late Clarence Edward Woodell, Sr. Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Ollie Hosey and Reese Woodell, maternal grandparents, Robert and Lula Combs and father.

Clarence was a 21-year Army and Navy veteran of Vietnam, Lebanon and Granada Wars where he was in Special Forces and was a Navy Medic where he received a Purple Heart and four Commendations.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Mullens Woodell; mother, Dolly M Coombs Woodell of Centerville, TN; son, Clarence Edward Woodell, III of Ashtabulah, OH, stepson, Brent Bolley of Salt Rock, WV; daughter, Dana Woodell Frame Mifflyn of Richwood, WV; half brother, Richard Lee Stewart; sisters, Phyllis Lorraine Tickle and Kathyrn Belle Woodell both of Centerville, TN and Susan Eileen Woodell of Ankorage, AK; grandchildren, Jennever Frame, Cerry Frame, James Frame, Tracey Frame, Frank Ovie Mifflyn, III, Sawyer Bolley and Evelyn Bolley.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 7, 2017 at Greene-Robertson Funeral Home, Sutton with Rev. Rich Demastus officiating. Family will receive friends one hour before services. Military Navy Honor Guard graveside rite will follow at Hoover Cemetery, Sutton, WV.

The Johnson High alumni will miss Skeeter very much.
