James Cliff Gilliam**

1951 - 2007

Cliff "Tex" Gilliam, age 55 of Pensacola, Florida passed unexpectedly in Colorado on Thursday, September 13, 2007. Called Cliff, Daddy or Paw Paw, will always live in our hearts and be remembered for his generosity, joy of life and love of the outdoors. He was an accomplished athlete in his youth, and an avid hunter and golfer. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to his brother Johnny Gilliam, Ken Higdon and Steve Shelton, the angels who were there to take care of our loved one.

His father, James C. "Pop" Gilliam Sr. preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Debby Gilliam; two daughters, Misty Gilliam and Gina Gilliam; two grandsons, Skyler Leatherwood and Kai Rowe; mother, Ruth Ray; sister, Lisa Doolittle & her husband Kevin and their children,  Mattie and Grayson; brother, John Gilliam; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from the Selma, AL area.

Memorial service will be 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2007 at FAITH CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 100 Beverly Pkwy. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Monday. Following the memorial service, please join the family at 7:00 p.m. at the Osceola Golf Course Clubhouse, 300 Tonawanda Dr., for one more fond remembrance of "Tex" at one of his favorite spots.
