Entered into this world on February 2, 1956 in Misawa, Japan. She returned home on March 14, 2004, just one day after spending twenty-eight years with her beloved husband, Kevin Arceneaux. Stomy was preceded in death by her father, Walter Smith Jr. She is also survived by her mother, Yukie Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Yumi & Brian Stafford; sister and brother-in-law, Miyuki and Steve Henderson; brothers & sisters-in-law, Marcos and Kim Smith and Gary and Anna Smith; nieces and nephews, Mykisha and Brandon Smith, Kiyomi and Stevaughn Henderson, Georgeanna and Aimi Smith as well as a host of other family and friends. Friends and family are invited to attend a viewing on Monday, March 22, 2004 from 6:00pm-9:00pm. A Celebration of her Life memorial service will also be held on Wed., Mar. 24 at 2:00pm. Both services will be held at the Sacramento Japanese United Methodist Church, 6929 Franklin Blvd, Sacramento, CA. The family has requested that everyone in attendance wear colors to reflect her bright spirit and beautiful personality.
